Hi! I just wanted to check in with everyone since I'm, um. Kind of back in Goldenrod again.

[He looks... sheepish.]

I ended up back here sometime during that weekend nobody remembers, and I forgot to tell everyone about it. So... yeah! I'll probably be sticking around until after the holidays if anybody wants to meet up. After that I'm going to finish getting all of the Johto badges and then go back to Kanto.

So, what about you guys? Are any of you going to be in Goldenrod for the rest of December? And how many of you are going to take on the Kanto gyms? I don't know when I'll finally be able to go, but it might be cool to meet up over there, too!

Well... pretty much right after Halloween, the stores start putting Christmas decorations up... Christmas commercials start popping up all over the TV... people go nuts shopping for gifts...

... Not gonna lie, though. I was always kinda fond of how stupidly ever-present it was.

Hah! Don't really blame you. But it's not all bad.

Lots of good food and then on Christmas Eve people go singing carols door to door in the street... well, most people. Dad and I didn't really do it. We got some at the door a few times though.

Or, well, they did it more when I was little, I guess. Or in the areas I lived in when I was little.

Depends on who was singin' 'em!

If I recall correctly, some of the neighbors when I was five or so were really good singers, but I, on the other hand, was referred to as 'Caterwauler'.

A nickname I'm still proud of.
