[For those watching from Pokégear, the visuals turn on abruptly to a clawed foot over the lense. This quickly vanishes as the Totodile to whom the foot belongs jumps off of the Pokégear, leaving an angled shot of a certain boy who appears to be battling a Weedle.]
That's enough, Elza! Come on back!
[He returns a Hoppip to its Pokéball, before tossing out a new Pokémon.]
Go, Kaori! Finish it off with a tackle attack!
[The Pidgey appears and immediately charges at the Weedle, tackling it into unconsciousness.]
All right! Good job, Kaori! Huh... Kee Keema, what are you doing all the way over there?
[Wataru heads in the direction of the Totodile and crouches down to pat it on the head as his Pidgey flutters up to his shoulder, apparently content to perch there. As he laughs at the antics of his Pokémon, the fact that his Pokégear is on remains unknown to him...]
